There is something about the world’s most liberal city – with the scent of marijuana perfuming the air and red draped windows adorning the canals – that makes me desperately hold onto moments of tranquillity like this.
– Amsterdam

Paired with your glorious photo, your introspection is a dreamy, soothing breath of fresh air…thanks for sharing 🙂
Here there is a funny story: some years ago Elisa (the girl you met in Florence) and me were visiting the European capital cities and we so also Amsterdam. We looked for a hotel near the train station, we booked it and when we arrived, we discovered it was at the very beginning of the Red Light district 😂 You can imagine who were our “neughbours” 😂😂
That’s easily forgivable Sara. Every time I go somewhere I like to stay close to the central stations. So no different, I booked close to central station here. I then thought, I’m in Amsterdam! What should I do in Amsterdam? Of course I need to see some red, so I actually booked myself a proper tour of the district, not such a good idea if you are sober…
😂
Nice! Contemplating if we want to move to Amsterdam some time..haha
Right… I hope it’s not because of the easy access to certain things that I was alluding to. But each to their own, so good luck! (And pls consult your life boss first before making any drastic decisions.)
Or just move and life boss will follow!
Beautiful!
Beautiful colors of tranquility! Interesting city to visit.
Thanks – interesting is an understatement…
