Light shines bright in the sky
Illuminating our lives
In shades of vivid hues and meaning
Light shines
Through depths of sorrow and despair
Casting shadows everywhere
A beacon of hope, love and laughter
It shines selflessly
Most people call it Home…

Love to go through your posts, Jolene… have a lovely weekend ✨💜
A delight to read Jolene. the pics are a perfect accompaniment to the words. “Shining selflessly” – beautiful alliteration! I will include this in my July round up for the A and I Poetry challenge. Thanks so much for contributing. I look forward to more beautiful poetry next month.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. 🙂
Lovely, Jolene! 🙂 Especially seeing you all radiant. The last line makes me wish to ask: Most people but not you? 😉
Thanks Manja. I appreciate your kind note! 😉
As for “most people”, of course myself is included.
